Highly respected for his command of the recording studio and creative vision, the industry’s leading Hip Hop icons including P. Diddy, Andre Harrell and called on Dofat regularly to consult on artist development direction. Managed by P. Diddy and a key member of the rap mogul’s legendary production unit, The Hit Men, Dofat was the primary entity assigned to work with the highly rated, MTV reality program, Making the Band 2 featured musical group, Da Band, effortlessly earning the elusive “hyphenate” of songwriter-producer- engineer.
